Website packages

This is what is included in the professional website design and build:

1. Web hosting. You may already have this, but we would need to check whether it meets the criteria to run our software.
2. A domain name. This is the actual name that surfers will type into their web browser to find you, for example: www.mybusiness.co.uk
   You may already have one and that is no problem, it can be pointed to a new host if your old host is not of the right specification.
3. A Content Management System, known as CMS, which allows you to make updates to your text and images, and also add new pages.
   You can make changes from virtually anywhere in the world by simply typing in your username and password.
4. A full, professional package that is individually designed for your company. We work closely with our clients, we are more than happy to answer all questions, and there is nothing to pay until you are completely satisfied with the end result.
5. A Site Search box is put on each page if required.
6. High security measures are included as standard. To make safe alterations to your website you MUST have a SSL secure connection to your admin area – which we include in the price.
   Also we include two different types of password protected barriers to get into the admin area.
   The database connection passwords and other sensitive information is moved away from the browser level.
   All file uploads are done by SSH – which is far more secure than FTP.
   We also do other security measures which we won’t disclose here.
7. Our website designs are fully accessible to people with disabilities. Our pages are passed to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines on all three Priority areas.
8. Our websites are also W3C Standard’s Compliant, which means they pass the Validation tests and are therefore ‘future-proof’.
9. We will submit your new website to Yahoo! and Google. We also submit a Sitemap.xml file to give better guidance for Googlebot.
10. We are careful to make the pages search engine friendly, and so there is Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) built in to the design.
11. All images are fully optimised for quick loading.
12. Flash can be included in our designs.
13. A Blog can also be included, and is excellent for generating interest in your products or services.

The design and build costs:

Each website design is different, but as a guide, a 5 page design and build would be around £500

For an e-commerce site please ask for details.

Updating information and images:

If the information on your website becomes out of date, or an image wants changing, or you need to add another page then it’s no problem, because our Control Management System (CMS) is incredibly easy to use. It is also included in with the price.

If you would rather us do the changes, then we can update existing text for £5 per page, and update any images, or add images, for £5 per image.

Text and images have to be submitted to us electronically or on a CD.
